Oritsefemi was reported to have engaged the bouncers at the club in a scuffle for not heeding his request of allowing veteran artistes, Sound Sultan and Rock steady into the VIP section.
This led to ones of the bouncers named Iliasu injured and himself beaten up by security officials at the club last weekend. All fingers point to Oritsefemi as the culprit for not obeying protocols even as Sound Sultan was said to have accused him of lying in his defense of his actions.
Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele while recuperating in a hospital in the island said he regretted his actions and has apologised to all parties but insisted that he did not stab the bouncer and never wanted to harm him. On his instangram page, he tendered unreserved apology to the owner of the club and the injured bouncer.
“Shina Peller remains my boss, my friend and a brother for life. I know you will never ask anyone to mob me. It’s never your fault, neither your management team. I’ve accepted it as a very deep lesson from the almighty, amuwa olorun ni. For the injured bouncer, I will take good responsibility for his health condition,” writes the singer who recently dropped a single titled Corporate Miscreant.
