Nigerians
have petitioned President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government over
plans to increase data plan prices by December 1st, 2016.
The petition is available via change.org against the federal government to halt the increase by NCC.
The petition reads: “NCC has instructed telecommunications companies
within the country Nigeria to make certain changes is their data
structure which might lead to possibly increased rates for less data.
Which is supposed to be implemented by December 1st 2016. We want the
price of data to remain the same and individual companies to sell data
at the price at which they choose to.The petition is available via change.org against the federal government to halt the increase by NCC.
