Jose Mourinho will start his Manchester United era away to Bournemouth on the weekend of August 13-14, but it is the week four cracker with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City that is making the headlines already.
Defending champions Leicester, who surprised the football world by winning the title against all odds, will open their defence with newly promoted Hull, but Arsenal vs Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium is guaranteed to be the match of the week.
Mourinho and Guardiola are expected to set the English premier league alight next season in continuation of their rivalry from the Spanish La Liga, when Mourinho led Real Madrid and Guardiola Barcelona.
Mourinho will take on Bournemouth (a), Southampton (h), Hull City (a), Manchester City (h), and Watford (a)in his first five matches.
