Appeal Court in Benin City has ordered the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Victor Edoror, to appear before it on April 7.
Justice Jimi Bada gave the order on Monday during proceedings on all applications presented by counsels to parties in the contempt of court case against the Speaker.
Mr Sylvanus Eruaga had initiated the proceedings following the Speaker’s repeated failure to obey an initial court judgement.
The Judge, therefore, fixed Thursday, April 7 for hearing of all applications.
