An exclusive interview with the chairman of One nation, A fast rising NGO. Mr. Abiodun Oladipupo (The C.E.O Folashade farms)

Can we meet you sir?
Mr Biodun - Definitely!
Am Oladipupo Abiodun by name, a graduate of Animal biochemistry, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, also the C.E.O of Folashade farms.

How does the foundation (one nation) come to existence, and what is the motive behind it?
Mr Biodun - Hmmmm! One nation started with group of friends living together with a common goal in our 1st year in the university. It started as a name for our football team. The group persisted till our 4th year in the university where we decided to deviate from the initial motive i.e football team. We tasked ourselves to help people in need.

What year was it established?
Mr Biodun - It was established in the year 2010

Is one nation an NGO or GO?

Mr Biodun - it is an NGO.

What purpose was the foundation created?, and we would like to know the vision of the group in details.
Mr Biodun - One nation is seeking a way to balance the equilibrium of available resources amidst the rich and the Destitutes. The new one nation is a group of young graduates who are willing to give back to the society, willing to go hungry so that the needy could have food on their tables.

How old is the foundation (one nation) now, and what are the achievements so far?
Mr Biodun - The group is obviously 6years but we got this vision about a year ago so I would like you to refer to the vision and not the group sir.
we were able to assist our fellow students while in school with the payment of their school fees, we held a conference back in school tagged one nation and friends where everybody i.e members and associates came together to deliberate on pertinent issues and also wine and dine together. We also visited a school in a village named iwokun nla in ewekoro local government, suburb of obada Ogun State to award scholarships to some students and also gave long lasting school sandals to the pupils as some of them were without one, the scholarship consist of free primary education to tertiary education. All to be sponsored by one nation

Early this year we got information through the group social media pages that the group is embarking on a charity project tag #EducateAchild, what is the motives behind that sir?
Mr Biodun - as I said earlier, the foundation did a rural survey to search for underdeveloped schools where the students might be lacking the basic amenities of a standard school. In the school we gave scholarships to the outstanding students as a means to encouraging them and investing in their future. Moreso, some materials were distributed amongst the students in order to relieve their burden. The total of 6 students were sponsored by the grace of God, the scholarship consist of the sponsorship of their primary-tertiary education.

Looking at the achievements of the group presently, what should Nigerians expect from the group next?
Mr Biodun - The motto of the foundation is "...building the nation", Nigerians should await the restructuring of the Nation.
Everybody has got the right to choose what to become and nobody should be deprived of this right. The destiny of these children shouldn't be truncated by lack of education or support or food or clothing or shelter, rather every Nigerian should rise up to the responsibilities ahead of us, we are Onenation! Help someone, save a dying future, feed an orphan....

Assuming someone wishes to become a member, what are the requirements?
Mr Biodun - Presently there's no room for membership, but you can be an associate or a friend, a partner, a sponsor, patron, matron e.t.c

How can they reach the foundation in case anybody wants to support the group financially or any other ways?
Mr Biodun - The group has an hotline with which she can be reached and also a facebook and twitter accounts
Hot line... 08025136187
Tweeter... @team1nation

Lastly, what advice do you have for the Rich out there who have never consider charity work.
Mr Biodun - There's nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man, true nobility is you being better than your former self. There's a great difference between influence and affluence. You're not living until you begin to live for others. Touch lives, influence lives, change lives, impact lives... you don't have to give the whole of your possession, a kind word to the needy might go a long way, paying a child's school fees might mean rewriting the destiny of that child for the better. My advice is this, make charity your way of life for there's nothing we have that we haven't received.

We are grateful Mr Chairman for creating time for this interview
Mr Biodun - The pleasure is mine sir.
